Environment & Conservation
Do you love the great outdoors? Volunteer in Jamaica on one of our climate change, environment or conservation projects for an amazing experience way to see Jamaica’s beautiful flora and fauna environment while making a contribution to its practical conservation.
We have a number of volunteer projects across Jamaica focused on climate change and the environment which is ideal for anyone who wants to get involved.
Our climate change and conservation projects include activities such as research dives in marine protected areas in Montego Bay and Oracabessa, coral gardening, beach clean-ups, tree planting in the Blue and John Mountains, wildlife surveys in the Cockpit Country wildlife conservation. Some of the endangered and endemic species you’ll have the opportunity to see on this volunteer project include the Jamaican iguana lizard, Hawksbill turtles, Jamaican Boa and more. In volunteering in Jamaica on this volunteer project the possibilities are endless.
You will work under the guidance of our experienced partners in marine biology, forestry and conservation and more so you don’t need any prior skills or experience. However if you have experience in the area our partners welcome you as well.
We welcome you to join us at any time throughout the year to volunteer in Jamaica, for university research or as part of a summer or spring break vacation to Jamaica.
